I am pleased to share with you my interview with Laura Coleman, author of Ultimate-Ultralight-Backpacking.com, a website featuring articles and tips for ultralight backpackers, hiking, and outdoor enthusiasts. Federal recreation fees waived Monday, Jan. 21, on Martin Luther King Jr. holiday
Unfortunately, this particular fee waiver comes at a slow time in the Pacific Northwest and benefit to the public is minimal (it does not include winter recreation parking). There will be waivers on busier days to come, though.
